DOC's Charging System/Battery "FAULT LIGHT" for 12V Charging System!
DOC's Charging System/Battery Fault Light, #DOC-FL-UNIVERSAL can be installed an ANYTHING utilizing a 12 VDC Charging System with accurate readings & results!
Fault Light "FULLY" Illuminates when:
- Ignition Key is "ON", with motorcycle "NOT" running!
- BDM Charging System has "FAILED"!
- BDM Voltage Regulator has "FAILED"!
- BDM Charging System "Breaker" has "TRIPPED", or "Fuse" has "BLOWN"!
- Battery voltage drops "BELOW" 13.5 VDC, (Under Charging)!
- Battery voltage rises "ABOVE" 14.5 VDC, (Over Charging)!
Fault Light "INTERMITTENTLY" Illuminates when:
- Loose or inadequate battery terminations!
- For a "SHORT" duration when motorcycle is first started, during the "QUICK" battery recovery period!
( NOTE: Lingering durations of illumination after start-up are an indication of a "WEAKER" battery!)
Fault Light "NOT" Illuminating when:
- "Both" the Charging System and Battery are operating within "PROPER" designed parameters.
- A QUICK GLANCE Determination Design, "SIMPLE", like it SHOULD BE! "OFF" = NO Problems! "ON" = PROBLEM!
